Graphic Design Work

Designing by Discovery: A Self-Taught Path

My journey with graphic design began out of personal curiosity—teaching myself Photoshop as a middle school student by trial and error. Over the years, I’ve been grateful for opportunities to apply this skill in various ways, from designing posters for my university to contributing to projects like Yana Tourism Magazine.

At Yana, I served as volunteer editor-in-chief, but the university covered graphic design costs as part of its responsibilities—which meant my design work for the magazine was compensated separately. These experiences have been a meaningful way to bridge my self-taught skills with real-world applications.
