Learning to Teach Through Photography
My journey with photography began as a middle school hobby that grew into a meaningful pursuit. I was fortunate to take my first formal course in high school, and later, during my undergraduate studies, had the opportunity to learn advanced lighting techniques. These experiences led to small but rewarding roles photographing theater productions and some events.
When Shahid Beheshti University kindly invited me to share what I’d learned through a webinar, I was humbled by participants’ positive response. This eventually led to teaching opportunities under the university’s Cultural Vice-Chancellor, where I aimed to give others the same supportive learning environment I’d benefited from.
Surprisingly, these photography skills have also helped me better appreciate and document the beauty of places I visit, complementing my tourism studies in unexpected ways.
