Tour Leadership

Tourism in Practice

From a young age, I developed an interest in tour leadership—not only guiding fellow Iranians but also engaging with international travelers. This curiosity led me to pursue German Language and Literature during my undergraduate studies, hoping to bridge cultural connections. While pandemic-related travel restrictions and Iran’s tourism decline limited opportunities with foreign visitors, I shifted my focus to domestic groups, where I aimed to provide meaningful and thoughtful travel experiences.
My earliest experience came during my bachelor’s degree when I helped organize four student trips, serving as a guide for three of them. Later, during my master’s studies, I worked with a travel agency specializing in rail tours, which offered me new perspectives on tour operations. These experiences have given me a modest but practical understanding of tourism challenges—insights that I hope to build upon in my research.
