A Little About Me
I’m Mohammadreza Salehi. As a 24-year-old curious person, I am still figuring things out, but I know I love learning, showing people amazing places, and taking photos of nature. To me, the best trips are the ones that change how we see the world and how we care for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What topics are you currently exploring in your studies?
My master’s thesis focuses on regenerative tourism — exploring how travel can support ecosystems, communities, and well-being rather than just extract value.
Why did you study German Language and Literature in your bachelor’s?
I pursued it to work with German-speaking tourists visiting Iran. My goal was to lead inbound tours and promote cultural exchange. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent political challenges led to a sharp decline in incoming tourism. Since then, I’ve focused on leading tours for Iranian travelers, especially those interested in the country’s rich natural, cultural, and historical heritage.
How do you evaluate the quality of the universities you studied at?
I’m aware that there are more advanced academic institutions abroad, but I tried to make the most of the opportunities available to me. Shahid Beheshti University, where I did my bachelor’s, is among the top three for German studies in Iran. For my master’s, I studied at the University of Tehran, which is considered the leading university in the country and holds a QS ranking of 368. While the system had its limitations, I stayed committed to learning and growing throughout the journey.
What kind of tours do you lead?
I lead both cultural and nature-based tours across Iran, with a focus on responsible and educational travel experiences.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Persian (native), English (fluent), and German (intermediate), especially in the context of tourism.
